I started a week of yoga retreat in a tiny mountain village called Saint Joan which is in the North of Ibiza. All shops & restaurants are located on one street which is about 50m long. There are 1 pharmacy, 3 cafe/restaurants, 1 church and 4 banks (I don't know why there are so many banks). Since I got here, I had been panicking because I don't know what to do after 2.5h of yoga class every morning!!! My yoga teacher is an unworldly man and teaches very professional yoga but I smell his big ego - he talks as if he is the best yoga teacher and others are wrong. So I don't really feel comfortable. Today I went up and down the main street and I got completely bored so I went back to my hotel and surfed the web (Thank god there is free wifi in my room) then I started to get depressed and ate a big bag of chips and drunk some wine - this was not my ideal evening of yoga retreat. I really don't know what to do. I already miss Ibiza town.
I went to an Hippie market in a small town called Sant Carles. I'm not into hippie style hand made jewelry & clothes so didn't find anything to buy. The only thing I liked was the music in a cafe at the middle of the market. A DJ was playing nice chill out music.
Yesterday was the second rainy day since I arrive in Ibiza on Sep 24th. Local people says that it's been exceptionally good weather this fall. When it rains, there are not many things to do on this island so I went to Can Marca cave in the north of the island. There are many caves like this on this island.
Yesterday in the yoga class, I couldnt do a somersault because of my back pain so I went to a osteopath which was recommended by my yoga teacher. According to the doctor, my pelvis was blocked so it was affecting my back and neck bones and also all my muscles were tight. I was thinking about the reason while I was getting massage then I remembered that I fell from a horse and landed from my pelvis more than a month ago. As many people told me, I finally noticed that horse back riding was dangerous! I was glad that my bones were adjusted this week because I will attend yoga retreat in the north of Ibiza from this Sunday. After the treatment, all of my muscles were relaxed and I was dead for a whole day.

Yesterday I went to an eco village called Casita Verde which was hiding in the mountain of Ibiza. I drove on unpaved roads which were surrounded by olive and vege fields. When I started to worry that I had got lost...then I found the tiny village in the middle of nowhere. Casita Verde has been practicing eco lifestyle for 20 years. All electricity is solar energy, eating vegetables from their own fields, using underground & rain water, and etc...

Every Sunday is open house so visitors can experience their eco ways of living and attend eco seminars. I was pleasantly surprised and moved to see the people who were seriously committed to ecology.

On Saturday night, I went to a bar in West end of Saint Antoni which is known as English town. There were many English pubs, inexpensive bars and fast food restaurants in this area. I saw many people who didn't know how to drink or use drugs so it was unpleasant. This night would be the first & last time to visit this area.
